Does “stream proof” actually hide overlays from OBS?
The cheats overview mentions stream-proof modes that exclude overlay layers from certain capture APIs. It still says record a local test clip before going live, OBS game vs display capture behaves differently.
Also separate monitors can leak if you capture the whole desktop. Test with the same scene you stream with.

From the source articleGame capture test, then display capture test. Do not trust the label alone.
Recorded 30s, clean on game capture. Good enough for me.
